Bitcoin latest - market appears stable after volatile week

The value of all leading cryptocurrencies was higher during early Friday trade

                                

The price of bitcoin was trading 3.95% higher at $34,305.16 (8.10am BST), while ether (Ethereum) was up 1.63% at $1,959.12. Dogecoin was trading briskly, up 14% $0.2674.

Trading in most cryptocurrencies appeared calmer although nearly all  currencies had been valued down compared with the previous week - bitcoin was trading -9.1%, ethereum -16.37% and dogecoin -11.95% compared to a week ago.

The market continues to show worrying volatility although bitcoin was bolstered by news that the central American state Paraguay will follow El Salvador’s lead by adopting bitcoin as legal tender.
