Crypto update – Bitcoin sell-off continues

Bitcoin and Ethereum were both trading lower early on Tuesday

The number one cryptocurrency bitcoin was trading at $33,262 at 08:15 BST (UTC+1) on Tuesday, having clawed back some losses on Monday to trade above $34,000. It fell 3.44% in 24 hours and was down 4.33% compared to its price seven days ago. 

Ethereum’s ether (ETH) remained the second most-traded cryptocurrency with a price of $2,027.75. That’s a fall of 6.12% on the day, and down 12.83% on the week. Meanwhile, tether (USDT) was up 0.02% at $1 both on the day and over the last week.

Binance coin was also down, dropping to $314.78 over the last 24 hours. It was trading down 0.59% over the last seven days and 5.58% on the week.

Cardano was trading at $1.31, down 4.11% on the day and 9.16% on the week.
