Esports group first in UK to launch Fan Token on Socios.com
UK-based Endpoint CeX becomes the sixth esports partner on the Socios.com platform
Endpoint CeX, a UK-based esports organisation that competes in video gaming tournaments involving games like Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO), Rocket League, Quake and Rainbow 6 Siege, has signed a partnership with Chiliz, the global blockchain provider for the sports industry. The partnership will result in the unveiling of a new Fan Token via fan engagement and reward app Socios.com.
Endpoint CeX becomes the sixth – and first UK-based – esports group to partner with the platform. The $ENDCEX Fan Token Offering will take place on 18 November.
The esports organisation will use the $ENDCEX Fan Token “to empower their fanbase with a selection of unique and exciting rewards”, according to the Chiliz press release. Those who buy the $ENDCEX Fan Token will have access to exclusive rewards from video games and technology retailer CeX as well as receive opportunities to attend CeX events as a special guest. Endpoint will also be hosting monthly polls where fans who hold the $ENDCEX Fan Token can vote and have a direct say on organisation decisions.

More than 70 major sporting organisations have partnered up with Socios.com to launch Fan Tokens, including FC Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), Juventus and AC Milan.
In addition, Socios.com has partnered up with five English Premier League teams: Aston Villa with the $AVL Fan Token, plus Leeds United ($LUFC Fan Token), Everton ($EFC Fan Token), Arsenal ($AFC Fan Token) and Manchester City ($CITY Fan Token). All five have launched or will be launching a Fan Token with Chiliz and Socios.com.
Teams from other sports, including the US National Basketball Association (NBA) and Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), have also launched Fan Tokens on Socios.com.
