Spotify to give away free Google Home speakers to its Premium subscribers
The streaming service is opening the offer to new and existing customers until November 15 in the US only
Spotify is giving away free Google Home Mini speakers, powered by Google Assistant, to its Premium subscribers.
The Google Home Mini speaker released in 2017 will be available through Spotify's promotion, as opposed to the newly announced update, known as the Nest Mini.
New and existing Spotify Premium subscribers can secure one of the smart speakers by visiting Spotify's website before the offer ends on November 15.
Once a user is logged in to their account, Spotify will send an email with a link to request a free Google Home Mini.
The Google Store will then open, showing the Google Home Mini price reduced to zero. Subscribers can choose from three colours: grey, black and red.
The same promotion has been available in the past, but it was restricted to Spotify Premium family plan account holders only, CNN stated.
However, users who received a free Google Home Mini last year through the same promotion are not eligible to claim another one this year.
