Founded in 2017 by Claude Eguienta and Paul Neuner, Telcoin uses blockchain technology to try to increase global access to a range of financial products. The start-up provides affordable financial services to all mobile phone users without the involvement of financial intermediaries. It is poised to capitalise on the surge in demand for decentralized finance (DeFi) projects.
Telcoin, whose competitors include ripple and eCash, is uniquely positioned due to the fact it focuses on mobile phone users exclusively and distributes its products and services through telecom providers. Telcoin has a compelling proposition: there are five billion mobile phone users across the world, and many people still without access to affordable, fast or efficient money transfer options. Alongside Telcoin Wallet is the native token of telcoin (TEL). The Telcoin ecosystem has also launched Telcoin Remittances, Send Money Smarter (SMS) and TELxchange, a decentralised digital asset exchange,
Despite a less-than-impressive performance throughout 2019 and 2020, telcoin surged in the 2021 bull rally. What does this mean for a telcoin price prediction? Let’s first take a look at historic performance, to get some context.
After a small surge in value on 20 January 2018 to a high of $0.01113, the TEL price fell to a low of $0.0005563 on 14 August 2018. TEL continued to fall, hitting $0.0002626 on 15 February 2019. In 2021, however, the telcoin cryptocurrency price surged from $0.0001708 on 1 January to its highest ever price on 10 April of $0.05987.
It was trading at $0.01488 on 30 November 2021.

Let’s take a look at what analysts think.
Telcoin price prediction: expert opinion
Predictions can be helpful to indicate which direction the price may move. It is important to view them as possibilities, rather than absolutes. This is especially the case when looking at long-term forecasts. These can sometimes be completely off the mark, because of the inherent volatility of the crypto market and the many unknowns which could impact future prices.
With this in mind, let us look at some TEL price predictions.
TEL crypto price predictions
WalletInvestor says that the TEL price should hit $0.0362 in a year’s time and $0.121 five years from now.
According to gov.capital, the telcoin price prediction for 2022 is 0.0289. The site estimates that in five years, the telcoin price will be $0.130.
DigitalCoinPrice says that TEL should be worth $0.0230 at the end of 2021, before increasing to $0.0264 in November 2022. A year from then it should make another moderate jump to $0.0330 before climbing to $0.0396 in late 2024. The telcoin price prediction for 2025 is $0.0455 in November.
Some forecasts are optimistic, others are less so.
From Crypto Ground: “The coming years will bring future possible growth time for telcoin cryptocurrency. There would be an extension to the alliances and new technological solutions that will raise TEL price to $0.0247 on the live price chart”.
Coin Price Forecast writes: “It is regrettable that the telcoin cryptocurrency on the remittance market seems to be showing a negative syndrome. The bears will pin it down like other crypto giants too. TEL price may disappoint its investors, sailing barely at an average telcoin price of $0.0091, and that too with difficulty”.
Potentially. Some analysts forecast that TEL will go up. There could be more-widespread adoption of telcoin, owing to the disparity between the number of mobile phone owners and the unbanked.
The price could continue to rise throughout the remainder of 2021, however it could also fall. Performance is based on a variety of factors, including future TEL-related sentiment.
