TVK coin price prediction: Is it worth investing in?
TVK’s price has been decreasing since March. But will it rise again?
Terra Virtua Kolect’s (TVK’s) price has been on a downward trend since April this year; as of 12 October 2021, it is currently hovering around the $0.19 mark. But is it a coin worth investing in? First let’s look at the purpose of the TVK coin.
What is TVK coin?
TVK coin – not to be consused with the Terra and the Luna coins – was created alongside the non-fungible token (NFT) marketplace Terra Virtua to reduce the fees of transactions. Terra Virtua’s aim is to create an immersive NFT experience where users can show off and interact with the collectibles.
As well as a payment option, users are encouraged to stake TVKs and are rewarded through prizes.
Prestige is a four-tier system that gives different perks to users depending on the amount of TVK they are holding. It starts at TVK5,000 and goes up to TVK125,000. The rewards include access to exclusive NFTs, town hall meetings with the CEO and monthly drops of free, random collectibles.
The story so far
The TVK coin launched on the 16 December 2020 at $0.06, and the next day dropped below its launch price. Through the rest of the month, the price of TVK kept falling until it reached its all-time low of 0.03 on 23 December.
It started to pick up over the first two months of 2021, with the price hovering around the $0.10 mark. Then Binance announced a new staking activity with TVK tokens, saying the event would launch on May 6 and operate on a first-come, first-serve basis. Users could lock their stakes for a set duration of time and would receive daily interest payments.
The day after this announcement TVK reached a new high of $0.81. It went on to reach its all-time high of $1.15 on 15 March after it announced its launch of NFTs from the Netflix show Pacific Rim: The Black. The launch of these collectibles coincided with the release date of the related anime series.
After setting a new high, the price fell throughout the rest of March and April, hitting the low of $0.30 on 24 April. At the beginning of May, Terra Virtua announced interactive elements where users can visit each other and see their collectibles. It later named these places the ‘Fancave’ and ‘Terra Dome’. After the announcement, the price spiked at $0.64 on 2 May.
TVK started falling again after the interactive announcement and has not reached its price in May since. However, it did see another momentary spike in August when Terra Virtua announced its newest development of Prestige, the reward-based system. On 6 August it climbed to $0.47 and stayed around the $0.30 mark for the rest of the month.
After the crypto crash on 7 September, TVK slumped to $0.25 and has never recovered since. It is currently hovering around the $0.19 mark. But could the NFT token rise again?
TVK crypto price prediction
WalletInvestor has described TVK as a “bad, high-risk one-year investment option”. Their TVK coin price prediction for 2021 is a gradual downtrend around the $0.20 mark. It predicts this trend will continue throughout 2022, hitting around $0.12 by the end of that year.
A similar TVK coin price prediction comes from Gov Capital, which said it was a “bad portfolio addition” since the price, it predicted, will drop to $0.16 in October next year.
However, DigitalCoinPrice forecasts a long-term upward trend for the token. It predicts the price will be $0.28 by the end of 2022. The site’s TVK coin price prediction for 2025 is around the $0.50 mark, and it forecasts that $0.86 will be the highest price for the coin in the future. It also describes TVK as a “profitable investment”.
It depends. TVK has been on a downward trend since May this year and WalletInvestor predicts this will continue into 2022. On the other hand, DigitalCoinPrice thinks there is a profit to be made as it will reach $0.82 in 2028.
Remember, however, that analysts can frequently be wrong, so you should always do your own research.
It might do. DigitalCoinPrice predicts the Terra Virtua coin price to increase over the next eight years. However, both Gov Capital and WalletInvestor forecast a bearish trend for TVK.
Remember, you should never invest more money than you can afford to lose.
