The crypto landscape has exploded with start-ups looking to find new opportunities within the metaverse-blockchain space. A host of projects have looked to disrupt the world of real events and concerts, creating new platforms by which fans can stream live concerts.

Animal Concerts, one of the newbies, streams metaverse concert,s enabling, it says, “amazing next-generation fan experiences”.

The protocol allegedly works alongside artists to design and mint NFTs to further extract value and find new ways to monetise the fan-creator relationship.

Claiming to digitize the live music industry, Animal Concerts, has performed well since its launch. But will the token growth continue after the hype has died down? Will fans flock to the metaverse to watch their favourite artists perform? Will ANML compete with sizable amount of cryptos purporting to offer a similar experience? What is the Animal Concerts price prediction?

Before looking at forecasts, let’s do a quick overview of the coin.

What is Animal Concerts (ANML)?

The aim of the project, the Animal Concerts team says, is “to transform the fan experience and democratize the music industry by enabling A-list and emerging artists to engage and monetize fans directly.” The project streams both 2D and 3D concerts where NFTs will be the means of purchasing tickets. NFTs will also be used to “personalize the experience” including tracking voting rights and creating backstage passes.

With artist currently collaborating with the project including Alicia Keys, the rapper Future and Busta Rhymes, Animal Concerts appears to have gained a fair amount of exposure.

The ANML token can be used to buy tickets, NFTs and other merchandise. Owning the token entitles holders to discounts, as well as the ability to participate in the governance of the protocol. As well as making a return through staking, holders can also get value back via a redistribution of a percentage of Animal Concerts’ profits.

The project’s whitepaper outlines the problem Animal Concerts is seeking to fix, explaining that “with declining album sales, the increase in streaming and limited touring capacity, artists’ revenues have been declining sharply, yet fans are starved for interaction and are looking for a more personal connection with their beloved musicians.

“Events globally are moving online – especially in the last year. The Belgian mega rave Tomorrowland went online in 2020 and sold over 1 million tickets. People threw parties in their houses, invited their friends and partied like they were there. This is now becoming mainstream and the potential here is enormous.”

The project says that by creating virtual events, potential revenue is “infinite”, because any number of tickets can be sold, unlike with real-life events, where ticket numbers are limited by the size of the venue.

Animal Concerts hopes to gain exposure via social media channels, with the aim, according to its whitepaper, of having “the biggest social following of any cryptocurrency – as no other coin has the mainstream reach we will have by using big-name celebrities as our marketing arm."

The Animal Concerts team includes technology and finance executives, software engineers, blockchain experts and events management entrepreneurs, our highly ambitious team is working together to realize our ambition of becoming the destination platform for next-generation concert experiences.” The co-founders are Colin Fitzpatrick, born in Ireland and now based in Dubai, who has worked for Oracle and Dell among others in roles including sales, marketing and management, and who claims to be an enthusiast for both crypto and music; and Jeff Lombardi, former global head of private wealth for Citibank and currently a partner at the venture capital firm Silk Bridge Partners

So what about ANML price predictions?

Animal Concerts price prediction: expert opinion

Always remember to view price forecasts as possibilities of what could happen as opposed to absolutes. Keeping this in mind is especially important when looking at long term forecasts, as these can often be wrong.

With this in mind, let’s look at some ANML coin price predictions – currently few in number, because the token is so new.

Is Animal Concerts a good investment?

With a strong team behind the project, and so far what appears to be interesting partnerships and collaborations, ANML seems like an interesting investment. Will Animal Concerts go up?

It could go up, however it could also go down. While the platform has potential it remains to be seen if the model of fans paying to see artists virtually will take off. It also remains to be seen whether the project can differentiate itself from competitors.
