FTX and SALT announce partnership and a new crypto event
Former US presidents and UK prime ministers have addressed previous SALT conferences
FTX, the cryptocurrency derivatives exchange, has signed up to a multi-year partnership with thought leadership forum SALT, with the two organisations jointly launching a new event called Crypto Bahamas.
Notable speakers at previous SALT events have included the likes of former US presidents Bill Clinton and George W Bush, former UK prime ministers David Cameron and Tony Blair, and Hollywood actors Will Smith and Al Pacino.
SALT describes itself as a global thought leadership and networking forum encompassing finance, technology and geopolitics. The networking forum was founded in 2009 by Anthony Scaramucci, who is CEO of global alternative investments firm SkyBridge, and who in 2017 was briefly the White House Director of Communications for then-president Donald Trump.
SkyBridge produces the SALT conferences.
The Crypto Bahamas event
The new Crypto Bahamas event will debut in April at the Baha Mar resort in Nassau. It will be an invitation-only event, designed to facilitate collaboration between leading crypto investors and well-known figures in the digital asset industry.
SALT events take place all around the world: in North America, Asia and the Middle East. SALT New York will be taking place in September at the newly expanded Jacob K Javits Convention Center.
