Cash withdrawal (ATM) rules

  1. Cash (ATM) Withdrawal amount limit
    1. Maximum withdrawal amount per transaction: $750.00 USD (inclusive of any ATM surcharges).
    2. Calculation: Total Transaction Amount = Withdrawal Amount + ATM Surcharge.
    3. Action: The transaction will be automatically declined if the Total transaction amount exceeds $750.00 USD.
    4. Applies to: All ATM cash withdrawal attempts (MCC 6011).
  2. ATM Withdrawal Frequency Limit
    1. Maximum attempts: Three (3) within a rolling 24-hour period.
    2. Time window: Looking back 24 hours from the current attempt.
    3. Counting criteria:
      1. All ATM withdrawal attempts (MCC 6011) count toward the limit.
      2. Both approved and declined transactions count toward the limit.
      3. Includes transactions declined for any reason (insufficient funds, exceeded amount limit, etc.).
    4. Action: All subsequent ATM withdrawal attempts will be automatically declined after reaching three attempts within the 24-hour period.

Additional clarifications:

  1. The amount limit ($750) applies independently of the frequency limit.
  2. Transactions declined due to exceeding the amount limit still count toward the frequency limit.
  3. The 24-hour period is calculated to the second (e.g., from 12:00:00 PM one day to 12:00:00 PM the previous day).
  4. All amounts are calculated and enforced in USD
