Cash withdrawal (ATM) rules
-
Cash (ATM) Withdrawal amount limit
- Maximum withdrawal amount per transaction: $750.00 USD (inclusive of any ATM surcharges).
- Calculation: Total Transaction Amount = Withdrawal Amount + ATM Surcharge.
- Action: The transaction will be automatically declined if the Total transaction amount exceeds $750.00 USD.
- Applies to: All ATM cash withdrawal attempts (MCC 6011).
-
ATM Withdrawal Frequency Limit
- Maximum attempts: Three (3) within a rolling 24-hour period.
- Time window: Looking back 24 hours from the current attempt.
-
Counting criteria:
- All ATM withdrawal attempts (MCC 6011) count toward the limit.
- Both approved and declined transactions count toward the limit.
- Includes transactions declined for any reason (insufficient funds, exceeded amount limit, etc.).
- Action: All subsequent ATM withdrawal attempts will be automatically declined after reaching three attempts within the 24-hour period.
Additional clarifications:
- The amount limit ($750) applies independently of the frequency limit.
- Transactions declined due to exceeding the amount limit still count toward the frequency limit.
- The 24-hour period is calculated to the second (e.g., from 12:00:00 PM one day to 12:00:00 PM the previous day).
- All amounts are calculated and enforced in USD
